About Pam

Many years ago, before my last semester of college, I was Rolfed, and it changed my life. Rolfing, a sophisticated form of bodywork, realigns the body… and the connection with spirit, the body and the earth. The opening into a place of ease and grace, the delicious grounding that I felt, a reconnection with my own spontaneity, and the relief I got from long standing back pain, affected me so profoundly that I rearranged my final semester to include the courses that I would need to qualify as a candidate for the Rolf Institute.

But my luscious re-connection with Life didn’t stop there. After I graduated, I discovered Kundalini meditation and joined a spiritual community, studied, and became a teacher in a lineage of Tantric Kundalini Yoga that began in Kashmir, migrated to southern India, and then to the United States under the wing of Swami Rudrananda. I am currently, with deep gratitude, studying with the head teacher of that lineage, Swami Chetanananda.

During my time in this community, I co-founded and ran my own local business, taking it to a national presence, and learning much about being in the world and living in Spirit at the same time.

Seventeen years later, in 1992, I left my business to follow my dream of becoming a Rolfer. I also received my first certification in Craniosacral Therapy. I was delighted to discover that my years of spiritual work informed my new practice. Then, early in 2016, I completed a two year, 700-hour training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, which has deeply evolved my work as a therapist, and my life in general. For this I am nothing but grateful. Today, as a Registered Craniosacral Therapist® and a Certified Rolfer®, my intent is to use these tools to assist my clients in finding a place of exquisite health, well-being, and a connection with Life Itself.

My next level of discovery spanned nine years. While still maintaining my private practice, I obtained my Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology at Naropa University, in Boulder, Colorado. The education and training I received there added a new dimension to my practice and to my own personal growth.

During those years I also studied and was initiated as Nagual (teacher) into the Eagle Knight lineage of Toltec Shamanism. This ancient tradition attracted me because of its powerful philosophy and practice for personal growth. It also fit hand-in-glove with my practice of kundalini yoga, each unfolding the other. This work has been important for my orientation in my practice.

Today, I am blessed to have all of these gifts that have been given to me within my reach. I bring all of them into the work that I do. One of the greatest joys in my life is to share all of this with others, to walk alongside those who seek a greater depth in life, who want to fully explore the unimaginable possibility that is their life.
